The word copper comes from the Latin word cyprium named after the island of Cyprus. Copper is mans longest used metal, it's use goes back more the 10,000 years. It offers beauty, long life and a very low maintenance.
Copper changes its colour from a natural salmon colour to a progression of russet browns, greys and finally a blue-green patina after 15-30 years depending on location. It is possible to speed up the aging process by using prepatinated materials such as Tecu copper or Nordic green copper which we supply and install.
